English Day at School
This year students celebrated an English Day on 23rd May. This day was solely dedicated to English language and cultural facts. The pupils have prepared together with their teachers stage plays to share with the others. Learning, having fun and the opportunity to become an actor were definitely the elements of our English Day at School. Below you can see pictures illustrating the following performances:
- “Thanksgiving at the Kardashians”
- “James Bond; the Royal Family”
- “The last conversation of Princess Diana”,
- “Court Scene”
- “The History of English Tea and Biscuits”
- “American Revolutionary War”
- “Language Misunderstandings”
- “Shlafrok Holmes”
- “Henry and All Those Wives”
- “The sign of four”
- “Dirty Fork”
- “Discovering America”
- “Guy Fawkes Night”
- “The main differences between the UK and the USA”
Some of the students prepared cakes and you could listen to a song of a popular band called “One Direction” performed by one of the groups. The shows were followed by a quiz checking how much the students managed to remember and most of them were awarded with the best marks.
